
Our menu is a true blend of the cuisines of the countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea. For breakfast, we will serve traditional Mediterranean pastries such Feta Cheese Pockets and Olive Pockets made from scratch and freshly baked at MEGO every morning. Our goal is to provide the students and staff with a fresh, healthy way to start their day, so pastries will be accompanied with your choice of fruit juice or a freshly brewed blend of Turkish and Arabic hot breakfast teas.
Mediterranean cuisine commonly features ingredients that are already familiar to the United States palate. For example one of our main lunch menu items is Pauté: A Giant Stuffed Baked Potato. It is loaded with mozzarella cheese, choice of meats and vegetables, topped with delicious dressings. It is very similar to a twice baked potato. The only difference is the preparation process and the fact that we will stuff it with your favorite meats and vegetables to become a filling meal for you!
Our other main lunch menu items are Gyro Sandwiches and Pitas. They come in two choices freshly carved from the cone in the vertical broiler in front of your eyes: Beef & Lamb or Chicken. It is the most favorite fast food in Greece and it is a very healthy alternative to regular fast food.
Unique Panini sandwiches are another option on our menu. They will remind you of the beautiful Mediterranean coast of Italy.
