A graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and no stranger to the kitchen, Chef Aaron Franco brings 15 years of culinary experience to Sacramento State. Chef Franco’s extensive background includes 10 years as chef at Nordstrom where he opened 3 successful locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Bellevue, Washington. He’s also worked for a variety of well-known restaurants across the country, including a local stint as Executive Chef at Heyday Café Restaurant in Placerville.
Voted one of the best chefs in El Dorado County in 2010, Chef Franco was spotlighted in 2011 in Sacramento Magazine and Sacramento Travel. One of his most notable past accomplishments was cooking for President George W. Bush at Camp David.
